Our Funds: Overview
Green Century Capital Management (Green Century) is committed to offering mutual funds whose portfolios have been screened to include companies with strong environmental performance records as well as those companies that are in the business of solving environmental problems. Green Century draws a hard line against companies with poor environmental records, or in environmentally risky businesses, such as those producing nuclear power, while always keeping an eye out for innovative firms creating exciting new environmental solutions.
The Green Century Balanced Fund
The Balanced Fund seeks to promote environmentally responsible corporate behavior, a cleaner environment and a sustainable economy by investing in companies that Green Century believes are environmentally responsible.
The value of the stocks held in the Balanced Fund will fluctuate in response to factors that may affect a single company, industry, or sector of the economy or may affect the market as a whole. Bonds are subject to a variety of risks including interest rate, credit, and inflation risk.

The Green Century Equity Fund
The Equity Fund seeks to achieve long-term total return which matches the performance of the MSCI KLD 400 Social Index (formerly named the Domini 400 Social Index), an index comprised of the stocks of 400 companies selected using environmental and social criteria. The Index is screened to include those companies with the best sustainability records.
The Equity Fund, like many other mutual funds invested primarily in stocks, carries the risk of investing in the stock market. The large companies in which the Equity Fund is invested may perform worse than the stock market as a whole. Learn more about the Green Century Equity Fund
